Reid won’t tip his hat on Plaxico

With the players still locked out, the Philadelphia Eagles coaches and staff were left to complete the teams annual playground build by themselves, this year going to work at the Moffett School.

Between painting and hammering, Reid took time to answer questions from the media. But just like his weekly press conference during the season, the head coach had little to say- especially when it came to Plaxico Burress.

“We haven’t even gone there” said Reid to Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Reid also noted that there was “nothing (we) can do there” due to the lock out.

Knowing Reid and his passion for making plans far in advance, its hard to imagine the Eagles have not already made up their mind regarding their interest in Plaxico.  The Eagles saw first hand that it took a year for Michael Vick to get his legs back, so its hard to imagine a work out swaying them either way.

Regardless of whether or not he and Joe Banner are interested, it is certainly no surprise that he offered little in terms of a comment on the situation.
